Thanks for checking out the site, kept it simple. The good thing is that I’ll be putting on different recordings from different sessions all the time. Hopefully that’ll be the reason to come back now and again. I’ve just finished recording my first album. It’s called ‘Songs From Just Outside The House’. It’s 10 songs written from the perspective of some people living in a small town. Some of it is true to life, some of it isn’t. I’m in there in parts too I suppose. Anyway I think it’s a good first stab at a record so I’m happy to put it out there.

It’s strange when someone asks a musician to describe his or her music. Much the same as an album review doesn’t really tell you much about a band, it’s easier just to listen to it. Whatever styles I experiment with I always just try to play and sing with passion. It never matters to me whether music is acoustic or electronic, song based or instrumental. As long as it has some feeling and a quality to it, that’s the only thing that’s important. (Although as far as I can tell, ‘world music’ is pretty dodgy on the whole so I might have to make an exception there. You know, that Lion King soundtrack stuff.
